Our Story

From a Family Need
to a Shared Passion

When our family moved to Australia we realised that one of the few things we miss the most was a sauna! So, we decided that we need to build one ASAP. The project although took a while when finished allowed us to immerse and to reestablish that fantastic sauna experience and culture that lived in our memories.

Having it back, we started to understand why we missed it so much. With all the associated health benefits saunas are some of the few settings where we can truly unwind and connect with those who matter to us. This is particularly important now when we spend so much time on devices and gadgets, in the offices and traffics navigating our busy lives.

In fact, I’m convinced it was designed especially for my little corner of the world! Thank you again for the professional service.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Big thank you to all the staff at Shym Saunas. We brought a sauna from them back in November last year and Art installed it for us. It was a smooth process from start to finish and since its installation we have been really enjoying the benefits of the sauna post our open water swims. Originally we thought we would just use it in the sholder seasons and winter, but we actually used it throughout summer as well! We are lucky to have some swimming friends who come back to our place to enjoy the sauna post swim and sharing it with friends enable us to all enjoy some great conversations. Would definitely recommend Shym Saunas to anyone comtemplating a sauna!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently bought and built a Patio S sauna supplied by Shym saunas, together with a Humm Hive woodfired stove. I couldn't be happier with the end result. The whole process with the team at Shym was amazing, all the questions I had were answered promptly, from lighting, building and shipping questions to the mundane.. "what sealant should I use" I enjoyed building it too! Like a really big IKEA kit but way better quality!
