Every sauna we sell in New Zealand is a Leil sauna, made in Europe at Leil’s factory in Estonia. Our own SHYM firewood stoves are designed by our team and manufactured to our specifications in China. The other heaters, such as Harvia and HUUM, come from their own makers, and each listing names the brand.

Unless you request otherwise all saunas come in a kit form and will require some assembly. It is hard to comment on how easy it is to assemble a sauna as everyone has a different level of skill and ability to work on tools. In general, if you have had experience building a deck, or putting a shed together you should be fine. However, there could still be some product-specific challenges. Each kit comes with a manual on how to assemble the product. We will also supply a link to an assembly video as well as will be available for any questions via the phone.

We can arrange to ship the kit anywhere in New Zealand. There are several shipping companies that can assist us with shipping. The cost of shipping is a transparent cost (shown on the Wellness Space Tax Invoice) that we will forward to the customer. The cost of shipping will depend on the distance and the size of the package. Shipping is not calculated online, so please contact us for a shipping quote.

Our Leil Patio and Round Cube saunas are built from thermo-treated Nordic spruce, and the Como and Viva series from 40 mm ThermoWood®. Inside, the benches are alder or aspen, depending on the model. The specification on each listing gives the exact timbers.

Yes. Every sauna comes with its benches already fitted and most include a backrest. The bench layout and the timber vary by model, so check the specification on the listing for the exact arrangement.

No. The hot tub heaters we sell need no pump and no electricity. The external heaters circulate the water on the thermosiphon principle, where hot water rises and draws cooler water in from the bottom of the tub. The internal heater sits inside the tub and heats the water directly.
